Join us for a grand birthday party celebration with a Cajun twist as the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society celebrates our 20th year! We have played alot of music over those years and want to share some of our past successes and memories.

Both Helen Bankston and myself have worked hard to make our 2018 fête be successful along with many volunteers from our club. We are counting on you to be here in March for a grand time.

Do you have a schedule of classes yet? I would like to come but would like more info about starting/ending times and classes. Thanks.

Yes, we do have the fete schedule of classes complete (always subject to some fine tuning), however, it should be complete. Please access it on the drop down tab of Lagniappe Dulcimer Fete.

If I were to fly there, which airport? And what is the best way to get to and from the airport?

Hello, The Baton Rouge airport is only about 5 to 10 miles away. That is the easiest. A rental car is really needed because all the hotels are still several miles away from the Community Center. You can get all your meals at the fete by pre-purchase. If you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel; we can most likely assist you getting to and from the hotel to the fete saving a rental car cost. You might be able to get less expensive flights in to New Orleans airport but that is about 70 miles away. Hope you come!
